PowerPoint 2010 Video Pipeline: Video out

Logic: how PowerPoint 2010 shows or exports video

Your options to play or display video are:

  1. In a slideshow, or

  2. Saved out as Video (new in PowerPoint 2010)!

Let's take this YouTube video of mine:

In BackStage our options are:

  1. Create a video button
  2. Definition- High definition to Web
  3. Whether to use or not use timings, and
  4. The Create Video button.

When I saved as a video, the output ranged from 42 meg to 4.54- yay! This video can now be played in Windows Media Player, or even imported back into PowerPoint- yay!
